Hi, I’m Sharon, and I’ve been married to my husband Joe for 23 years. We have a 15-year-old son, Ethan, two rabbits (Ember and Tink), two cats (Freddie and Albie), and one very lively labradoodle called Barney — so yes, life is wonderfully chaotic!
Dragonfly Melts was born in June 2020. I’m a self-employed hairdresser by trade, but during the Covid lockdowns I suddenly found myself unable to work. Like many, I needed something creative to focus on — and that’s when my long-standing love of fragrance and wax truly came to life.
I spent some time as a rep for another company, but it quickly became clear that I wanted to be in control of the fragrances, designs and creative direction myself. I wanted to create something truly my own.
Today, all of our wax melts, candles and reed diffusers are hand-poured in small batches at our home in Bristol. We use only high-quality natural waxes — coconut wax in our melts, and a blend of rapeseed and coconut wax in our candles. Each scent is carefully chosen, using the finest fragrance oils and natural botanicals to ensure a beautiful, long-lasting scent throw.
Sustainability is important to us, which is why all of our packaging is recycled, recyclable or reusable. We are also fully CLP compliant and insured, so you can shop with confidence.
